Why Don’t You Use The Entire Postcode To Map The Tweet?
I’d love to myself! However the postcode is owned by Royal Mail, and it costs a fortune to licence it. It’s licenced for certain aspects of Google Search API’s (for example, Google Local), and there are ways of hacking it to go onto the map, however this violates the mapping Terms of Use, so while it remains a paid for service (and it looks like being for a while), we are stuck.
I’ve Tweeted, Why Isn’t it Mapped?
It normally takes about 15 minutes for your postcode to be mapped, however if you tweet & your friend tweets after you from the same postcode, that’ll be mapped, not yourself. You’ll still be included in the “More Tweets” section though.
